Loan Scheme "EDUCATION"


EDUCATION scheme offers a combination of lending facilities, issuance of a Student Card that is linked to a current account, issuance of student medicard, designed to offer in-hospital medical care to students in Cyprus and abroad by Hellenic Alico Life, as well as other benefits. Interested clients have the option to choose all or part of the facilities offered i.e. you can apply only for the student card or you can apply only for a loan.

Education Scheme:

  • Loans from €2.500 to €140.000
  • Repayment period of up to 30 years
  • Attractive interest rate
  • Flexible monthly instalments
  • Grace period up to 5 years
  • Option of loan currency: euro, dollar, sterling pound


Student Card:

  • No charges for cash withdrawals through ATMs abroad and through Hellenic Bank’s and JCC’s ATMs in Cyprus
  • Direct access to the student’s money (current account / savings account / hellenic net account) at anytime, fast and easy
  • 24hour access to Hellenic Net Banking services to manage account
  • Discounts in more than 400 businesses via the Discount Scheme MORE4U
  • Free travel insurance provided that the tickets will be purchased with the specific card
  • SMS Alerts Card Service

Student Medicard:

  • In-hospital medical care due to sickness or accident in the country of studies
  • Cover when the student is on holidays in Cyprus
  • Cover when the student is on a short-term stay in a different country (for the purpose of their studies), other than the country of their main studies (excluding the USA and Canada)
  • Cover of the cost of a return airplane ticket for one of the parents in case of hospitalization of the student for more than 48 hours
  • Medication expenses following the hospitalization
  • Doctor visits following the hospitalization
  • Cover of the cost of transferring the insured from the country of study to the country or to the nearest hospital in the country of permanent residence
  • Flexibility in the choice of insurance cover depending on the country of study
