Marios Kalotychos

Born in 1981. Graduated from the Lanitio Lyceum A Limassol and studied Economics & Mathematics (Β.Sc.) at the London School of Economics and Economics & Mathematics (M.Phil.) at the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom.

Between 2009 and 2015, he was a Vice-president at Morgan Stanley in London where he worked in the European Fixed Income Capital Markets division advising European Banks on Balance Sheet optimisation focusing on non-core asset divestments both NPLs and REOs, through asset disposals and synthetic securitisations. In this role he worked closely with a number of investors in executing large scale portfolio transactions. He also advised corporates on hedging inflation exposures and executed complex derivative transactions.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, he was a Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities trader at Deutsche Bank’s European Commercial Real Estate trading desk in London.

He joined Hellenic Bank in August 2015 as Senior Manager Corporate Development while on 17th November 2017 he was also appointed as General Manager, NPA Management. Since 18th October 2018, he was appointed as General Manager, NPA Deleveraging & Transaction Advisory, overseeing NPA Deleveraging, Transaction Advisory, Insurance Subsidiaries and Business Advisory Support.
