Further to the announcement of Hellenic Bank Public Company Limited (the “Bank”), dated 28 August 2019, in relation to the decisions of the Annual General Meeting of the Shareholders of the Bank, the Bank announces that the European Central Bank has approved the appointment of Mr Christos Themistocleous to the Board of Directors of the Bank and therefore, Mr Themistocleous has been appointed as Independent Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors of the Bank with effect from 6th March 2020. Hence and following the announcement of Hellenic Bank Public Company Limited, dated 28 August 2019, in relation to the appointment of Interim Directors, Mr Andreas Christofides automatically vacates the office of the Interim Director with effect from 6th March 2020.
