Approval by the European Central Bank of the appointment of Mr John Gregory Iossifidis to the Board of Directors of Hellenic Bank Public Company Limited

Further to the announcement of Hellenic Bank Public Company Limited (the “Bank”) dated 17th June 2020 in relation to the decisions of the 46th Annual General Meeting of the Shareholders of the Bank held on 16th June 2020, the Bank announces that the European Central Bank has approved the appointment of Mr John Gregory Iossifidis to the Board of Directors of the Bank and therefore, Mr Iossifidis has been appointed as Independent Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors of the Bank with effect from 18th June 2021 (the aforesaid approval was received after the closing of the Cyprus Stock Exchange market). Following the aforesaid appointment, the appointment of Mr Andrew Charles Wynn as an Interim Director has automatically terminated on 18th June 2021.

In accordance with regulation 108 of the Articles of Association of the Bank Mr Iossifidis retires at the next Annual General Meeting of the Bank on 23rd June 2021 and, being eligible for re-election, offers himself for re-election.
