You may deposit up to 10,000€ into your account at any Hellenic Bank ATM daily. You may insert up to 200 banknotes in the note compartment. Please remove items such as paper clips or rubber bands and make sure the banknotes have been removed from any envelope. Do not insert damaged or folded bank notes.
Our ATMs accept euro banknotes. Coins cannot be deposited.
- Hellenic Bank cheque deposits are credited to your account on the next working day. Clearance of the amount may require up to two working days.
- Other local bank cheques are deposited into your account on the next working day and are subject to a standard three-day processing period before clearance.
Cash deposits to your account(s) are credited immediately. In the case where suspect or counterfeit notes are included in the deposit, a Hellenic Bank staff member will examine the deposit and contact you on the next working day.
During Hellenic Bank working hours, you may directly address the issue to the branch staff members who will be happy to assist you. You will need to present your card and the printed receipt. If the incident happens outside Hellenic Bank working hours, you can contact our Hellenic Bank Customer Contact Centre by calling 8000 9999, or simply by saving your receipt and contacting the branch on the next working day.
First, select “Deposit” from the ATM menu and select the option “Cash” from the deposit submenu. You will then be prompted to select the account where the money will be deposited into. After selecting the account, notes must be inserted in the ATM’s deposit slot and the on-screen instructions will guide you to complete the deposit.
Select the option “Deposit” from the ATM menu and then select the option “Cheque” from the deposit submenu. You will then be prompted to select the account where the cheque(s) amount will be deposited into. After selecting the account, cheque(s) must be inserted in the ATM’s cheque slot. Insert the cheques face up, with the amount facing up and to the right. You will then be asked to insert the amount for each of the deposited cheque(s) and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the deposit. Hellenic Bank ATMs only accept cheques in euros.
