If you have forgotten or locked your password, you can reset it online by clicking on the “Forgot my password “ which is located in the Web banking login screen. In order to that, you will need your user name, your ID or passport and access to an email address or a phone number registered with the bank. You can also use your Digipin if you have one. Yes. Our alerts service sends you email or SMS notifications for your account balances, transactions and money movements between your accounts.You choose the limits you want.
Most transactions (transfers, payments) have to be authorised by using your digiPIN device. However, you won't need to use it if you are transferring money between your own accounts or to someone who's already on your existing payee list.
We make the protection of customers’ personal and sensitive data top priority, and our security is second to none. So, we use industry standard data encryption, protection of your account by a username and password (which we strongly recommend you don’t share with anyone), and automatic time-out when you don’t do anything for 10 minutes. If you forget your credentials or someone else enters them wrongly, the system will lock you out after three attempts (but you can contact us and go through security to get it sorted out).
We also give you a digiPIN device. It’s a little gadget that generates single-use codes for you to use when you want to do money transfers.
If you’re ever worried that someone or something has gained access to your account fraudulently, call NUMBER right away and tell us about it.
Hellenic Bank’s Spendometer gives you a better picture of how much you’ve got to spend – with more information than just a balance. It adds up the money you have, and subtracts upcoming bill payments, pending transactions, and any fixed deposit type of savings. That way, you get a more accurate picture of what you can afford.
The Spendometer takes all your available balances, including any arranged overdraft, and then takes off what you’ve got scheduled to come out, including any Standing Orders for minimum card payments, loan payments, direct debits, and any other pending payments, including direct debits, standing orders, and payment you’ve made but which are yet to clear.
No. For reasons of security, you can only log in from one place at once. However, because of automatic logout, if you’re downstairs trying to log in on your laptop and don’t want to go back upstairs to log out on your desktop, you’ll be logged out automatically upstairs by the time you’ve made (and perhaps drunk) a cup of tea.

You can transfer money between your own accounts, to any Hellenic Bank customer or to any other customer in Cyprus or overseas on the ‘Move money’ page.
It’s safer. You could rely on the 10-minute automatic logout, but it’s more secure if you get into the habit of logging out manually and closing your browser window. That way, nobody can access your account if you leave it logged in.
No. Web Banking is a secure way to get to your information, and we want to make sure nobody else can see it. So to view your account information online, you have to register to use Web Banking.

You can also send us a personal message by visiting 'Messages' on the top right of your screen when you’re logged in. A Customer Service Line person will see your message and get back to you.
